 Below, our 2024 event dates are separated by venue. The yellow buttons link directly to the specific event application. You can also visit our Eventeny Page where you can find all applications listed in chronological order.
 

Please Read The Following General Information Before Applying For An Event:

1 - All applications can be found on EVENTENY this year. You will need to create a free account and enter in payment information. There is no fee to submit your application and you will not be charged until the payment deadline.

2- Booth Fee Deadlines are listed within each application.  Cards on file will automatically be charged approximately 60 days prior to each event date.

3- If your plans change and you no longer wish to participate in an event you apply for, it is your responsibility to contact us prior to the payment deadline to let me know.  Payments will automatically run on the payment deadline. There are no refunds / credits offered so, please let us know your plans have changed before your card is run.

4- We do not accept MLM / independent consultants for direct sales type companies.  If you have a question as to whether you fall in the category, please email us prior to applying for the event.

5- We do allow boutique clothing, antiques, repurposed, vintage items.  If you have a boutique where  your main focus is clothing, we ask that you do not bring other items that were not made by you (non-clothing items such as jewelry / candles / soaps)

6- To see a full list of events with links to the facebook event pages, visit THIS WEBPAGE. Please DO NOT create a new facebook event on your business facebook page.  Instead please visit the original facebook event page from a computer, click on the three dots on the right side of the page beside the share arrow.  Then click on "Add To Page".  This will add the event to your event listings on your facebook business page.

vendor requirements

1.

High Quality & Original Artists, Makers, Finders!  We DO NOT allow mlm representatives or direct sales Companies.  We DO allow antiques, vintage, and boutique clothing.

2.

Have your NC Sales & Use Tax Account so you can collect and pay sales tax

3.

Be current on any required permits, licenses, or labeling that is required by the county, state or FDA in order to sell your product.

4.

Have an active website, etsy store, facebook page or instagram account.  We do a great deal of promotions but we love when vendors help promote the events!  Having an active social media account allows you to grow your following!

5.

Be flexible in regards to using your own data to run credit card transactions when the venue does not have wifi.

6.

Be a positive and engaging addition to Catbird Events. When you set up at a Catbird Event, you are a representative of your own unique brand and of Catbird Events.  It is expected that vendors are flexible with any requirements a venue has for us.

  • Is there a fee to attend?
    For the most part all events are free & open to the public! In the event there is an event that has an entry fee or ticket price, we will make sure to advertise that in our promotions leading up to the event.
  • Are these events family friendly?
    The majority of our events are kid friendly and we try to promote it as such. If you every have any questions about this please send us a message through our website.

  • What can we expect to find at your events?
    First you will find a positive, community driven event! You will find talented local and regional artists & makers selling a full range of items such as soap / body products, fine arts, handmade jewlery, boutique clothing, tie dye, stained glass, plants, food items, home decor, pet items, antique / vintage items, and so much more! Since 2016, Catbird Events is proud to have worked with some of the most talented artists, creators, and finders in the area. Over the years, the Catbird Crew has become like a family! Each event we organize is unique to the business and venue. We typically have food trucks and live music. We try to incorporate event elements that children and adults will enjoy. We strive to make each event a place that ANYONE will enjoy attending! All while supporting local businesses and buying handmade! We hope to see you soon!
  • Are your events wheelchair accessible and is there handicap parking?
    Yes! Each venue is wheelchair accessible and has plenty of handicap parking. If you need any other accomodations, please reach out to us and let us know what we can do.
