An Event?
We really enjoy partnering with local businesses to create a unique experience for your followers and the community! Since 2016, our mission is to raise awareness of the importance of supporting small, local, and handmade. Or to #supportlocaleverything !
If you are interested in finding out more about how we structure our events just reach out and let us know! We would love to partner with you to create a fun community event that helps shine a light on the importance of LOVING & SUPPORTING LOCAL!
Kristin is from Winston-Salem and has always been passionate about advocating for the importance of the arts. Her education and past work experience led her to her involvement with the arts on a more community level.
She started Catbird Art & Events in 2016 with a main focus to collaborate with local small businesses to organize fun vendor events that would allow the community opportunities to support local, small & handmade! Wondering where the name CATBIRD comes from? It was the nickname given to her growing up by her grandparents!
In her spare time she enjoys life with her husband, their twins & 2 dogs as well as teaching art for a national online school and spending whatever extra time she can gardening, digging in the dirt and finding her way to the beach.
